Karen attended King Henry VIII Independent School in Coventry and went on to study Law at University. After obtaining a Commendation on the Legal Practice Course Karen commenced her training contract with a local law firm. She then moved to Coventry City Council’s Children’s Services Department where she undertook public law work.

Karen then began her career with Button Legal LLP in April 2009, completing her training contract and qualifying as a solicitor on 01 March 2010.

Karen is a solicitor specialising in family law work. She undertakes work in relation to divorce, finances, children matters and domestic violence issues. Karen has over 4 years experience in dealing with such matters. Karen has been involved in complex cases, some of which have been heard in the Royal Courts of Justice. Karen has worked in both the private and public sector.

Karen enjoys keeping fit and going to the gym, socialising with family and friends, and travelling. Her claim to fame is that she has met many celebrities including Michael Jackson and David Beckham ( ….. at Madame Tussauds!)
